This privacy policy explains how Cauma collects, uses and protects the personal data you give us through this website, in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and Spanish Organic Law 3/2018 on Personal Data Protection and the guarantee of digital rights (LOPDGDD).

1. Who is the data controller

Owner: Montse Puig Castells
Tax ID (NIF): 33952884P
Address: Carrer de Pau Muñoz i Castanyer, 22, Sant Cugat del Vallès (Barcelona)
Email: hola@cauma.cat
Telephone: +34 692 732 934

2. What data we collect

Through the website contact form we collect your name, your email address, your telephone number (optional, if you give it) and the content of the message you send us. To prevent automated submissions (spam), the form includes a simple check (an addition); it uses no cookies or third-party services.

We do not ask you for any special-category data (health, beliefs, etc.). If you voluntarily tell us such information in your message —for example, to ask whether an activity is suitable for you— we understand that you give us your explicit consent to process it for the sole purpose of replying to you.

3. Why we process your data

  • To answer your enquiries or requests for information.
  • To manage requests to book activities or rent the room.
  • To manage any relationship that may arise from your contact.

We do not use your data for commercial or advertising purposes without your explicit consent, nor do we make automated decisions based on it.

4. Legal basis

The legal basis for processing is your consent (Art. 6.1.a GDPR), which you give by filling in and sending the contact form. You may withdraw this consent at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out before its withdrawal.

5. How long we keep your data

We will keep your data for as long as it is needed to deal with your enquiry or manage the relationship established and, afterwards, for the legally applicable limitation periods.

6. Who we share your data with

We do not transfer or sell your data to third parties. We use providers acting as data processors to provide us with services —such as Hostinger, our web hosting and email provider— with whom we have (or will have) signed the corresponding data processing agreement under Article 28 of the GDPR.

If any of these providers processes data outside the European Economic Area, we will ensure that the transfer has adequate safeguards (such as the standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission).

7. Your rights

You have the right to access your data, rectify it, request its erasure, restrict or object to its processing, request its portability and withdraw your consent at any time.

You can exercise these rights by emailing hola@cauma.cat, stating which right you wish to exercise and attaching a copy of your ID or equivalent document.

If you believe we have not handled your data properly, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (www.aepd.es).

8. Source of the data

The only data we process is what you give us directly through the contact form on this website.

9. Security measures

We apply the technical and organisational measures necessary to guarantee the security of your data and prevent its alteration, loss or unauthorised access.

10. Cookies

This website uses the following cookies:

  • Technical cookies (necessary): the site stores in your browser, without cookies, the option you chose in the banner (local storage), so as not to ask you again. No consent is required.
  • Analytics cookies (Google Analytics, ID G-BPVB266HYV): they let us know, in statistical and aggregated form, how many people visit the website, which pages they view and from what type of device, so we can improve it. Provider: Google Ireland Limited / Google LLC. Usual cookies: _ga and _ga_* (up to 2 years). They are only activated if you click “Accept”; until you do, Google Analytics is not loaded. Legal basis: your consent (Art. 6.1.a GDPR and Art. 22.2 LSSI).

You can change or withdraw your consent at any time using the Cookies link in the footer. Withdrawing it does not affect processing carried out before. You can also delete cookies from your browser settings.

In addition, the website embeds third-party content —the Google Maps map— and loads fonts hosted by Google, which may involve these providers processing your IP address, in accordance with their own privacy policies.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this privacy policy to adapt it to legislative or case-law developments. We will publish any change on this same page.
